About the role: You will be working within the strategic framework set out by the Director of Digital Development and Operations the Software Engineer, playing a leading role in Convatec’s drive to provide a World-Class Customer Experience through Digital Channels. 

Your duties and responsibilities:
  • Researching, designing, implementing, documenting, and managing software programs
  • Testing and evaluating new programs
  • Working closely with other members of the cross-functional team
  • Identifying areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications
  • Writing and implementing efficient code
  • Determining operational practicality
  • Developing quality assurance procedures
  • Deploying software tools, processes, and metrics
  • Maintaining and upgrading existing systems
  • Attending Agile Ceremonies
  • Training users
  • Previous experience working on the D365 CE platform in a development and/or administration role
  • Experience working on the Power platform and creating power-automated processes
  • Experience with .NET, JavaScript coding, and SQL
  • Working with Sales, Service & Marketing CRM Users
  • Working knowledge with data extraction, transformation, and upload tools such as Kingswaysoft, Power Automate, or similar tools
  • Experience with Marketing Automation and Telephony tools such as Click Dimensions and Genesys or similar tools
  • Knowledge of CRM plugin coding, XRM toolbox, or similar tools
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with all members in a manner that engages all stakeholder groups
  • Good knowledge of Agile methodology and principles by regularly learning it
  • Working knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle
  • Consultative approach with a blend of pragmatism and assertiveness
  • Degree or higher education in Computer Science or Business related areas
  • Fluency in English
Nice to have: 
  • Good understanding of Product Management
  • Good knowledge of DevOps principles
  • Skilled in Agile tools - Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps
  • Experience working on a highly customized D365 system
  • Experience creating a raft of digital products that deliver a coherent customer experience
  • Background in contributing to the delivery of digital services
  • Experience in Digital Healthcare solutions would be beneficial
  • Naturally curious and keen to discover what your users need
  • Worked in a multicultural and international environment
