Aptiv.io is recruiting a Product Owner to join their recently created Hub in Lisbon

The AI platform that captures missed revenue opportunities and connects with targeted buyers

Aptiv.io is a Tech Start-up based in NY, that is leading in sales and marketing for B2B companies, that want to see real opportunities to sell products and have information about customers' intentions. The platform uses data processing and scraping, collecting information from different data providers, and identifying key buyers to do marketing campaigns and sell their products.

About the role:

  • Work on a day-to-day basis with product manager to ensure product roadmap delivery.
  • Develop scope and define backlog items (epics/features/user stories) that guide the Agile software development team.
  • Develop and maintain an appropriately prioritized backlog of user stories for implementation.
  • Owns features delivery according to the Agile methodology (sprint refinement, sprint planning, sprint retrospective, ...).
  • Work with QA team to ensure features meet expectations (dev test plan, validate feature completion before it reaches the customer).
  • Deep product knowledge, on the business side and technical side (need to understand technical limitations).

What they are looking for: 

  • BS degree in Business, MIS, Computer Science, IT or a related field.
  • Previous experience as a Product Owner/ Product Manager or similar.
  • Previous experience in startups (required).
  • A laser-like focus on generating value for your customers.
  • Proven ability to influence difficult stakeholders, manage expectations, and challenging business requirements.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies.
  • Entrepreneurial and analytical; effective at managing change in a fast-moving and constantly evolving business.
  • Excellent power skills (communications, critical-thinking, problem-solving, time management, project management, resource organization/prioritization)
  • Fluency in English required.
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps or similar tools.
  • Understanding of AI concepts.
  • Programming experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of customer-oriented systems like CRM, Marketing automation tools is a plus.
  • Understanding Sales and Marketing is a plus.
  • Payment is based on performance and fit - New hire stock equity option.
