As part of the Infrastructure and Operations team, within IT & Digital, the candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Implementing the company's Infrastructure strategy to ensure standards and best practices for solutions and security.
- Collaboration, implementation and involvement in all project phases.
- Restructuring of existing Infrastructures or replacement of them, namely in the choice of solution (technical evaluations and cost/benefit analyses).
- Definition of requirements, choice and acquisition of solutions.
- Analysis of new technologies and disruptive offers, with the goal of innovative, evolutionary and optimised Infrastructures.
- Alignment with Galp's security policy in IT projects. Collaboration, implementation and involvement in all project phases.

Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, information systems, computing, Computer Engineering or similar.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Knowledge and experience with Windows, Linux (Red Hat, Suse, Ubuntu, CentOS) and ERP software.
- Experience in the Infrastructure area.
- Experience in using ITSM and CMDB tools.
- Experience with Datacenter systems.
- Experience in IT projects.
- Understanding the functioning of IT infrastructures in the Cloud.
- Understanding of Networking.
- Strong orientation towards problem solving and proactive search for improvements that bring benefits to the infrastructure, presenting suggestions and leading innovative initiatives.
- Ability to define requirements and design technical solutions.
- Oral and written fluency in English.
